Who Am I
I'm a classic hobbyist. If there is anything that I think I can do myself, I will try it, first, exhaustingly.
I take a lot of pride in self accomplishment and the sense of worth that comes from putting your sweat and tears
into something. Rebuilding a 1990 BMW 325is with 330,000 miles nearly brought me to tears, but I find keeping
something running for as long as possible to be a beautiful undertaking.
I live healthy and am an active cook and runner, but love a good IPA and glass of wine. I love all extreme
sports, stemming from my days as a skater kid. Coffee is on my mind 100%
of the day. I can't live without music in my life. I play a bit of piano and guitar and am endlessly fascinated with
the divergence of hip hop from disco and any music from the 60s. I go swing dancing in downtown Charleston, and always
join in on the cupid shuffle at weddings. My closest companion is my business partner and dog, Oliver. He means everything
to me, but is crap at accounting.
In a deeper sense, I pride myself on being dynamic. I'm the cliche' renaissance man. I'll tear up during a movie or a song, but
am strong and confident in who I am. I believe in loving all people and their right to pursue unencumbered happiness. I want to
experience everything that life has to offer, and have a genuine fear of complacency and boredom. Lastly, I am an open book.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. If you just want to meet up for coffee to chat and get to know me, you
know I'm down. Get in touch. Genuinely, the clients are the best part of this job:
